Role Summary: Lead integrations design workshops to gather requirements from clients or internal stakeholders, write functional design documents, obtain client sign-off, support developers by clarifying requirements, perform unit testing and provide support to testing team by reviewing test scripts.

Functional Designer and Product Owner
The functional designer designs the interface based on the product owner (client’s) requirements. The client is supposed to bring in the 3rd party vendor in the discussions. Type of meetings include:
• Exploratory calls
• Design workshops
• FD handover for sign off
Functional Designer and Integration architect
The functional designer aligns the to-be interface landscape with the integration architect and continuously collaborates to discusses any requirements that may deviate from the design guidelines to ask for direction. Type of meetings include
• Internal alignment FDs and Architects/Client IT (recurring)
Functional Designer and Developer
All throughout the design phase, the functional designer collaborates with the developer to confirm solutions for unique requirements. Perform unit testing with developer. Type of meetings include:
• Handover of functional design document
• Review of build
Functional Designer and Tester
As soon as the design is secured, the Functional designer then hands over the high-level test scenarios to the testing team so they can prepare for SIT (i.e. draft test scripts, test data). Type of meetings include
• Test cases/test scenarios review
• SIT execution regular meetings
Skills & experience required:
• Experienced in leading design workshops
• SuccessFactors EC functional background
• Experience in designing CPI integrations (payroll integrations preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication skills (English)
• Client stakeholder management
• Organised, ability to summarise key action items from workshops
• Collaborative, team player
