Project context

We are seeking expertise in project management to support our Market Services Portfolio Follow-Up initiative. This project is designed to monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of a portfolio of technology projects for trading markets. It focuses on tracking key metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve service offerings, customer satisfaction, and overall business outcomes.

The project ensures that the portfolio remains aligned with market demands and organizational goals. As part of our dynamic IT team of 400 professionals, the expertise will be instrumental in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our in-house software development for a prominent financial institution. The role will focus on establishing and maintaining a robust framework for capturing and utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance our operations and communication.

Goals and deliverables

We are looking for expertise to achieve the following goals and deliverables:

• Design and implement a comprehensive framework for collecting KPIs from each team within the IT department.

• Ensure the framework’s adaptability and scalability to align with evolving project needs and organizational growth.

• Analyze the internal KPIs to identify areas requiring attention and improvement.

• Translate data insights into actionable strategies to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

• Develop and oversee a communication strategy within the IT teams centered around KPI-driven insights.

• Standardize communication protocols to ensure consistency and clarity in messaging.

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all communications delivered outside the IT teams.

• Establish and maintain a process for regular and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring timeliness and relevance.

• Organize and lead weekly ‘Project at Risk’ workshops.

• Facilitate discussions, identify risk mitigation strategies, and ensure follow-up on action items.

• Act as a key facilitator in driving transformations within the IT department.

• Utilize insights from KPIs and ‘Project at Risk’ sessions to guide and support change initiatives.
